Steeped in history, OLLIE HAYES bar is in the Hayes Name since the early 1930s when it was purchased by Ollie’s Grandparents who at that time had the Hayes bar directly across the road which is still is in the Hayes name today, run by Ollie’s Aunt Julia and Uncle Joe.

In march 2013, Ollie and Henry Healy visited President Barrack Obama at the White House, and later all three enjoyed a pint of Guinness at the President's local.
